I agree with Loki’s face on this issue. Like….a lot.
Since Marvel!Odin’s parental strategy seems mostly to hinge on withholding important information, making ‘haarrrrgh’ sounds at them and then copping out of it all by falling in a coma AT WHAT MUST BE THE LEAST OPPORTUNE MOMENT EVER this would be one of the few instances where I’m like ‘truth, Loki. Truth’.
When Loki kind of has a valid point, a lot of things have gone very wrong.

Banner: But why me and why Sesame Street?
Coulson: Well, they are colorful creatures. You know… like… the Other Guy.
He’s got eyes like a sunset and skies of open blue. His hands are big and safe and warm, and he is tall and dark and handsome. His laugh is warm like trickling honey on the back of your tongue, and he makes you laugh too and says the most mind-wrecking of things.
No wonder that you fell for him;
no wonder that you fell.
You were lost and he is what found you; he was putting you back together from a thousand jigsaw pieces like a magician in all but the name. He kept you safe and he kept you like a porcelain child, one he had glued together himself.
No wonder that you trusted him;
No wonder that you fell.
We have seen and we have spoken of what he really is. He hides fangs beneath his smile and shackles beneath the warm hands and steel behind honey and words. In his mind are plans for you, make no mistake, my darling.
No wonder that you are afraid
No wonder that you fell.
